Plumeria Health
At Plumeria Health, we believe the best care begins with truly knowing our patients: their goals, concerns, lifestyle, and what wellness actually means to them. Every visit is individualized, combining evidence-based medical treatment with thoughtful, holistic options that support long-term health.
Whether addressing chronic conditions, preventive care, or acute concerns, recommendations are specifically tailored, including traditional medical therapies, lifestyle guidance, nutrition support, or integrative approaches; always grounded in science, compassion, and transparency.
Plumeria Health exists to restore what many patients feel has been lost in healthcare: continuity, trust, and a provider who sees you as a whole person.

Kristen Sheldon,
DNP, APRN, FNP-C, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Born in Houston and raised in Kingwood, TX where I currently reside. I have always known I wanted to work in healthcare, and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University. I returned to Houston, where I had incredible opportunities working as a RN in the Neonatal ICU, Oncology, and clinical research across multiple world-renowned facilities in the Houston Medical Center, including Baylor Medical School and MD Anderson.
Wanting to serve my community on a larger scale, I earned my Master's of Nursing-Family Nursing Practice from Texas Woman’s University and my Doctor of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University, where I focused my research on obesity management in primary care. I have been serving my community as a Nurse Practitioner since 2014, working in primary care and aesthetics. While also working as a Professor of Nursing at multiple universities since 2015 I have gained a skillset that translates directly into effective patient education, fostering better health, literacy, trust and compliance.
When I am not seeing patients or teaching, I love spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, Pilates classes, and reading!
